Excellent dependability in a small form-factor, constant duty magneto. Perfect for any naturally aspirated or lightly supercharged race car or hot rod. 2.2 amps of primary output and 25-30 milliamps of current and an extra long spark at the plug.
This system is ready to go, outfitted with the small cap, lower drive of your choice, 28900A transformer, plus a 4′ long weatherpak harness ready to trim-to-fit.
We also offer a choice of gear. The default gear will be bronze, however, bronze is recommended for roller cams and cast iron for flat tappet cams.
Since we’re building these drives now instead of Mallory, we’ve made a design change that everyone will like. Instead of the pins and rubber coupler to join the mag to the drive, we’ve gone to the popular, proven cross arrangement. The drive now contains a steel female cross welded to the high-strength shaft.
