Description
This relay is for use in hot rods and other cars with a regular ignition switch that run a magneto. A regular ignition switch only switches 12VDC on/off and will not ground/unground the magneto. When this relay sees 12VDC from the ignition switch, it ungrounds and allows the magneto to work. When you turn off the ignition switch, the relay grounds the mag – thereby killing the engine.
