Its sliding carriage and food holder arm ensure consistently smooth and precise cuts as thin as 1mm (.04″) or as thick as 10mm (.4″). The finely-honed stainless steel blade is built to last so that it rarely needs to be sharpened, even with frequent use. When it does come time for blade maintenance, a built-in blade sharpener, additional sharpening stone, and extra drive belt are included for your convenience. A cut-resistant glove should be worn when removing, cleaning, or handling the slicer blade.
